| Thanks, I'm using Robo's guide already, he removed everything which was why I was asking about it. My understanding of how the whole things works is vague. My concern was that even not hooked up that the exhaust gas could still get through the AIV system behind the fender and that with condensation it might still gurgle at times even though it's not really connected to anything except the exhaust. I was mostly looking to avoid having to plug the metal exhaust tube behind the fender using a big bolt and sealant. I decided to do almost the same thing though. I
'm using a large oil pan plug and hose clamp to plug the rubber hose section that is just inside the fender well, then remove the rest of the system.
